When you arrive, our vehicle will take you to a number of locations, such as the High Dam, which contributed to the submersion of several temples, some of which were spared... Learn about these temples, how they were saved, and the projects that were presented to save them. Through our guide, you can also learn the most important information about the dam.

Let's move on to the Unfinished Obelisk, an ancient Egyptian obelisk situated near Onwan.  The incomplete obelisk was found in an Aswan quarry renowned for its exceptional quality and hardness at the beginning of the 20th century, after being covered in sand for thousands of years. But because of its incompleteness, researchers have been able to learn more about how the ancient Egyptians made their obelisks.

We will taste Egyptian cuisine at a nearby restaurant for lunch before traveling to Philae.  We'll have some Egyptian food at a nearby restaurant for lunch before heading to Philae.  One of the temples that almost sunk was the Philae Temple, where the water rose to cover Isis's body save for her hand and face.

Isis was seen blessing the waters in the pictures.  Reconstructed in a lovely location, the Philae Temple celebrates the Egyptian goddess Isis, much like the ancient temple site on Philae Island.   Enjoy the temple's views before returning to your lodging to unwind.

We will start our trip to Abu Simbel. With the help of your guide, go through each section, where the Marriage Stele and other stones speak and provide historical context.  This stele commemorates the union of Ramesses II with Hattusil's eldest daughter.

A bas-relief on this stele shows Ramesses II receiving his new bride, Maat-Hor-Neferu-Re, together with her father, from his throne between Ptah and Amun-Re. Beneath this scene, a badly damaged inscription recounts the circumstances (peace treaty) that presided over this event.

The North Wall
This wall is divided into two large sections; the upper section is divided into five registers depicting the king presenting offerings to different deities. The lower section includes three registers depicting war scenes. On the left, we see the king on his chariot followed by three of his children also on chariots; they follow him into battle; he throws arrows towards the fortress of Kadesh where men express despair and implore the king; in the middle, This stele commemorates the union of Ramesses II with Hattusil's eldest daughter in the 34th year of his reign (12th century BC) and is located on the south wall of the temple's facade.
After discovering this beauty and its huge temple, where he called himself Ramses the Great and indeed everything he built was huge, you will be transferred back to your hotel in Cairo.
