Day Trip to El Fayoum from Oasis Cairo

Price Starting From : $80

Enjoy a trip to the Fayoum Oasis, which consists of several lakes and canals, and is the perfect weekend getaway for people who are keen to escape the hustle and bustle of the city.

Fayoum, still green next to Lake Qarun, feels like a return to another, different, and exceptional era. Water buffalo graze in the lush fields and herons nest, while residents wander around their small villages by donkey cart, tuk-tuk, or horseback. For this and more, we've prepared a trip to visit many places in Fayoum.

One of Fayoum's most prominent landmarks is Wadi al-Rayyan, a protected national park that spans nearly 700 square miles. You'll arrive in Fayoum by private car. If you're a group, we'll use our modern bus to transport you from Cairo with guides, who will show you around the tourist attractions. In addition to ancient sites and shopping, you'll find restaurants and accommodations in Tunis Village.

Although your tour of Fayoum will be filled with stories of loss, new archaeological discoveries and the pottery scene in Tunis Village suggest the region may be ripe for another rebirth.

The valley lakes are distinguished as a winter habitat for waterfowl migrating from the south and north to Egypt.

Next, we move to Wadi al-Hitan (The Valley of the Whales). The story of Wadi al-Hitan captivates many. This desert, home to towering rock formations, was once the bed of a vast ocean millions of years ago, home to thousands of marine creatures... But due to its exposure to numerous successive climate changes, it has become a desert, and all marine life has petrified. It has become an open-air museum. Learn more with us.

Then after that we will go to Mount Madoura The age of Mount Madoura dates back to approximately 45 million years ago, and is characterized by the presence of the mountain between the two breasts, which is considered one of the most important tourist attractions in Egypt.

Before the end of our tour we will go to the village of Tunis which was built by a Swiss woman to discover her school there and have lunch after that you will be transferred back to Cairo.
