Our driver will meet you in a private air-conditioned car and transfer you to Aswan Airport to catch your flight. Upon arrival in Cairo, our car and guide will be waiting for you. You will then be transferred to Fayoum, which is not far from Cairo.
You will visit Wadi Al-Hitan, the world's largest mine for vertebrate fossils. Approximately 130 fossil species have been extracted, ranging from fish to the Egyptian ape, the first creature with human characteristics in the animal kingdom.
The percentage of remains found in any region or period of time ranges between 2.5% and 13% only, and that the Wadi El Hitan Reserve was part of the Mediterranean Sea, approximately 40 million years ago, which made it rich in rare fossils, in addition to the skeletons of many other animals and fish such as sharks and bony fish.
Enjoy the waterfalls, the only one of their kind in Egypt.
You will then be transferred to Wadi El Rayan and the waterfalls after enjoying a delicious local lunch in Tunis Village.
They are natural waterfalls, not artificial, as the excess agricultural drainage from some Fayoum centers was released into the Wadi El Rayan depression in the seventies. The Wadi El Rayan waterfalls area is considered one of the most important tourist and aesthetic sights, in which geological monuments, diverse eras, water, plants, animals and birds harmonize.
Finally, you will be transferred back to Cairo International Airport to catch your flight to Aswan.
