Your day tour in Cairo will start with a warm welcome from the tour leader at Cairo International Airport, who will assist you through the airport formalities. After that, you will meet your certified English-speaking Egyptologist guide, who will take you on an unforgettable trip to some of Egypt's most famous ancient sites including the Giza Pyramids, the Sphinx, and other outstanding historical landmarks.

The Giza Plateau is the first stop and is home to the iconic Great Pyramid of King Cheops, the largest pyramid to have ever been built, as well as the Pyramid of King Chephren, and the Pyramid of Mycerinus. With their erudition, the guide will explain the history of the construction of these majestic structures as well as their purpose in the ancient Egyptian civilization. Stand in awe before the Great Sphinx, a massive limestone statue that has been standing watch over the pyramids for thousands of years. You will also enter the Valley Temple, which played a role in the mummification process and gives insights into old Egyptian religious practices.  

Then the tour continues to the ancient Saqqara Necropolis to explore the Step Pyramid of King Djoser. You will see the Tombs of the Nobles at Saqqara, which beautifully preserves ancient carvings showing the lives of Egyptian elites. After that, you will head to Memphis, the ancient capital of Egypt, with a special visit to an open-air museum at Mit Rahina to admire the colossal statues of Ramses II and the alabaster Sphinx, both carved out of a single solid block of stone.
