Your guide tells you of the once-vibrant capital and how it entered into Egyptian history during the early dynastic period, which was the beginning of Egypt as a civilized nation.

Then, your tour moves on to the breathtaking Giza Plateau, where stands the only remaining Wonder of the Ancient World: The Great Pyramid of Khufu. These gigantic tombs were erected for the pharaohs Khafre and Menkaure. On the contrary, from the Great Sphinx with its mysterious grimace of a human face on a lion's body, and the legends and historical controversies that surround this symbolic guardian of the plateau.
