In the morning, you will find a Cairo Top Tours representative waiting for you at your hotel to transfer you in a private air-conditioned car to Aswan airport to catch your flight to Cairo, where you will find our expert guide waiting for you at the airport to accompany you on your tour in Cairo.
Your day starts with a visit to the Pyramids of Giza, where you can see the Great Pyramid, also known as the Pyramid of Cheops, inside. The only surviving Seven Wonders of the World is the most inventive and contentious building in the world. There are many stories and legends about it; some believe that the pyramids were built by the people who lived on the now-gone continent of Atlantis, while others believe that giants from below rose to build them. Additionally, you will be able to see the Great Sphinx, the Pyramid of Khafre, the Pyramid of Menkaure, and the surrounding complexes. These monuments were built in ancient Egypt between 2600 and 2500 BC, under the Fourth Dynasty of the Old Kingdom. There are also several temples, tombs, and the remains of a workers' hamlet at the location.
We will continue our trip with a visit to the archaeological area of Saqqara, which is part of the necropolis of Manaf, after enjoying a delectable lunch at one of the neighborhood restaurants in Cairo. This area is home to numerous ancient Egyptian monuments, including the pyramids of several Fifth and Sixth Dynasty kings and the step pyramid of King Djoser, the oldest enormous stone structure in history, dating from the Third Dynasty.
Next, you will see the pyramids of several Fifth and Sixth Dynasty kings, including King Unas, the first whose tomb is mentioned in the Pyramid Texts; a vast collection of tombs belonging to top officials from the Old Kingdom; and kings and high officials from the First and Second Dynasties. It also passes the tombs of people from the Middle and New Kingdoms and contains tombs from the period of the first transition. The grave of the revered Apis calf (Sarabiyum), which was still in use from the 18th Dynasty to the Ptolemaic period, is also located in the region.
We will then take part in the motorized boat tour of the Nile, which is more than simply a leisure excursion; it is a spectacular experience that blends rest, meditation, and a unique viewpoint on the city in a serene setting that is difficult to forget.
Following your tour, our representative will drop you off at the airport for your trip back to Aswan at the end of the day. From there, they will transport you to your accommodation.
