Upon arriving in Luxor, you’ll meet your private tour guide who will join you for an incredible Egypt shore excursion through the ancient city. Your first visit will be to the magnificent Karnak Temple, the largest religious complex ever built. Spanning 247 acres, it features a vast network of main temples, smaller sanctuaries, and impressive outer structures, all reflecting centuries of pharaonic achievement.

Next, explore the famous Valley of the Kings, the final resting place of Egypt’s most legendary pharaohs, including Ramses II and the young King Tutankhamun. This stop is a must-see for anyone passionate about ancient history and a true highlight of your Egypt shore excursion.

Thereafter, you’ll proceed to the intriguing temple of Hatshepsut, famous for being one of the most beautiful temples and best-preserved ones within Egypt's territory. It sits on three levels, connected by glorious ramps with a wonder of architecture dedicated to the most renowned woman pharaoh in the history of Egypt.

Before the end of the day, the Memnon colossi will also be visited: two gigantic stone statues of King Amenhotep III. For these ancient gigantic statues that are said to guard the land, they were supposed to have been part of a vast mortuary temple, one that was transported at least 700 kilometers from Cairo all the way to Luxor.

In the evening, you have the option to attend the Sound and Light Show at Karnak, an immersive way to experience this legendary site after dark.

Later, you’ll catch your flight to Cairo, where you’ll be transferred to a 5-star hotel for an overnight stay, continuing your enriching Egypt shore excursion from Safaga Port.

Enjoy a delicious breakfast at your hotel before meeting your friendly tour guide, who will take you to explore some of Cairo’s most famous attractions on this unforgettable Egypt tour.

After that, there will be a visit to the Valley Temple of Khafra, along with a tighter look at the Great Sphinx-the mythical guardian with a lion's body and the head of King Chephren, standing guard beside the ancient funerary complex.

Your tour goes on by visiting one of the great museums in the world: The Egyptian Museum of Antiquities with the largest and most precious collection of Egyptian paintings and artifacts. It is the number one highlight of any Egypt tour.

At the end of your sightseeing day, you'll be transferred back to your cruise in Safaga, wrapping up an inspiring Safaga shore excursion filled with ancient wonders.
