Itinerary

Begin your incredible Cairo Day Tours, where our tour leader will meet you at your chosen location in Cairo or Giza. You'll be comfortably transported in a private deluxe vehicle to Dahshur Necropolis, about ten kilometers south of Saqqara. As you journey along the agricultural road parallel to the plateau, enjoy the sight of lush palm plantations, fertile lands, and the serene atmosphere. In the distance, the impressive stone pyramids of King Snefru rise above the desert, situated around 35 km from central Cairo.

It is said that Snefru dispatched a fleet of forty ships to Lebanon to bring back cedarwood, much of which remains preserved within his pyramids. The Bent Pyramid, one of his most famous constructions, reflects the transitional phase from stepped pyramids (mastabas) to the smooth-sided pyramids we know today. His legacy includes the Red Pyramid, the third largest in Egypt after those of Cheops and Chephren, and the Meidum Step Pyramid, his first attempt at creating a grand tomb.
