You will be transferred from your hotel to Sharm El Sheikh. Your first stop will be Taba. Taba is located at the head of the Gulf of Aqaba between the eastern Taba mountain range, plateaus on one side, and the Gulf of Aqaba on the other. It is about 240 km north of Sharm El Sheikh. The area between Taba in the north and Sharm El Sheikh in the south represents the most important areas of attraction and tourism development in the southern Sinai Peninsula.
You will take the ferry boat towards Aqaba and finally towards Petra. Discover more about Petra and enjoy its history and the beauty of its colors. Archaeologists believe that Petra was inhabited in prehistoric times, and in the sixth century BC it was home to the Edomites who excelled in pottery making and were not interested in sculpture as much as the Nabataeans who created the sculptures of Petra.
It is naturally fortified and can only be entered through the "Siq" road, which is a narrow road, with sunlight seeping in between its two towering edges. Tourists and those heading to Petra take it on foot or the backs of animals or carts pulled by them.
After your tour is over, you will be taken photos and enjoy your adventure. You will be transferred back to your hotel in Sharm El Sheikh.
