The Valley of the Kings is where our guide will take you when we meet you in the hotel lobby. The Valley of the Kings' tombs are identified by a chronological finding number and the abbreviation KV (King's Valley).
The tombs are buried beneath a mountain of limestone; sometimes the royal tombs are very deep, some descending up to 100 m into the bowels of the mountain and some as long as 213 m, like that of Ramses II (KV7). The walls of the rooms and corridors are decorated with scenes depicting the deceased king's journey to the otherworld, and formulas from funerary books are inscribed on these walls to help the king overcome all obstacles.
Tourists can enjoy the beautiful countryside, the mountains that house the tombs of the pharaohs' kings and queens, the West Bank temples, and the scenic surroundings by engaging in animal tourism, which is a type of leisure travel and an adventure.
Your tour, which lasts more than an hour, begins at the stables. You will visit farms, Deir el-Bahari, the Valley of the Kings, the Ramesseum, and the hamlet as part of the tour. You will also see the stunning and well-known West Bank sites. After the tour, you will sit in a country house and sip tea, watch the local oven, and observe other Upper Egyptian customs. You will finally be driven back to your accommodation.
