Early in the morning, you will be met by your driver to meet your guide and start your journey in Alexandria. You will first visit the Kom El Shokafa cemetery located in the Karmouz neighborhood of West Alexandria, which has become an important shrine for all Egyptian citizens as well as foreign communities, and the name Kom El Shokafa is the Arabic name given to the area in honor of the ancient Greek name.
You will be transferred to the Bibliotheca Alexandrina, and the library was not just a warehouse for collecting books, but was based on two institutions, the first of which was the ‘Museeuf’ The first was the Museum, where scholars specialized in all the arts resided, and the second was the Library, which housed the scrolls of books to be in the sight of scholars at all times, and it seems that it was distributed in two places, the largest adjacent to the Myosion, and the smallest in the Serapeum. Your guide and our professional driver will take you to the Royal Montazah Gardens in Alexandria Governorate, one of the most important tourist, historical, and cultural destinations in the governorate, which attracts about 5 million tourists annually, and is one of the oldest and largest gardens in Egypt, dating back to the era of Khedive Abbas Helmy II.
The most famous building is the Montazah Palace in the centre of the park, the summer residence of Khedive Abbas Helmy and one of the most important royal palaces in Egypt. At the end of our tour, the driver will drive you to your accommodation in Alexandria.
