Cairo Day trip from Alexandria to Cairo Museums

You will visit the National Museum of Egyptian Civilization, which is located near the Babylonian fortress in the heart of the historical city of Fustat in the old Egypt District of Cairo. The first nucleus of the museum was a small house at the old Azbakiya pond, where Muhammad Ali Pasha ordered the registration of fixed Egyptian antiquities and the transfer of valuable antiquities to the Azbakiya Museum in 1835, and assigned their management to Youssef Dia Effendi, under the supervision of Rafah El Tahtawy.
