The solemnity of history, faith, culture, and life converge on an unforgettable pilgrimage beginning early in the morning with a transfer from your hotel in Sharm El Sheikh to the Taba border, where you will cross into Palestine, where your expert guide awaits to lead you on this remarkable pilgrimage. You will experience the breathtaking views and rugged beauty of the Negev Desert, with its stunning landscape and traditional Bedouin settlements as you drive along.
The Dead Sea, the lowest spot on Earth, is your first stop. Float on its mineral-rich water, acclaimed for its healing properties. Proceed to Qumran, the very ancient site of the Dead Sea Scrolls, which offers a wonderful view into early Jewish history. Leaving this historical jewel, you will move toward Jerusalem, one of the most sacred cities in the world.
Upon arrival, enter the Old City and enjoy a scholarly stroll through its four quarters: the Jewish neighborhood, the Christian world, the Muslim world, and the Armenians. Begin with the Western Wall, a site of special significance in the Jewish faith. Then walk along the Via Dolorosa, the path the Christians believe Jesus walked on his way to crucifixion, to the Church of the Holy Sepulchre, arguably the most significant site in the Christian faith. From here, ascend to the Mount of Olives, where you will witness some of the most awe-inspiring views of the golden city skyline of Jerusalem and have an opportunity to see the most important Islamic landmarks in the world, the Dome of the Rock and Al-Aqsa Mosque.
After you've come to realize the sanctity of Jerusalem, your group will stop at Yad Vashem, Israel's official Holocaust memorial, to pay homage to life stories of resilience and memory before heading back. Finally, you will be transported back to your hotel in Sharm El Sheikh in comfort, cherishing unforgettable memories of one of the most outstanding cities in the world.
