After savoring a typical Egyptian lunch in a local restaurant, your sightseeing continues, this time at the Egyptian Museum, which houses thousands of artifacts, including the glory of King Tutankhamun's treasures. These artifacts include beautifully preserved relics, famous statues, and ancient scrolls dated centuries ago. As the day winds down, take a Nile dinner cruise or have leisure time to stroll around the buzzing streets of Khan El Khalili Bazaar, where you can shop around for memorable souvenirs. Afterward, you will head to a comfortable hotel in Cairo for an overnight stay until the next day of adventures.

The second day of the tour is reserved for more historic and cultural landmarks in Cairo. The glittering citadel of Saladin, along with the stunning mosque of Mohamed Ali, also known as the Alabaster, is your next stop, with breathtaking views of the city on offer. Then there are visits to the Hanging Church and other Coptic and Islamic sites, helping you to understand Egypt's varied heritage. Itinerary

The Cairo journey starts with an early morning landing at Cairo International Airport, where you will meet your guide for the day, who will be driving you to the Giza Plateau, home of Egypt's loveliest attractions: the Pyramids of Giza and the Great Sphinx. Explore the magnificence of the Great Pyramid of Khufu, the Pyramid of Khafre, and the Pyramid of Menkaure as you admire the ancient engineering marvels with historical importance around them. Throughout the tour, learn interesting facts from your guide regarding the construction and mysteries of these wonders.

Finally, stand before the Great Sphinx, the legendary statue carved in limestone that has a lion's body and a pharaoh's head, in awe. The visit will also include a visit to the Valley Temple, which had great importance for ancient burial rituals.

After lunch at a local restaurant, you will proceed with your sightseeing trip to the vast necropolis of Memphis and visit the Step Pyramid of Djoser, the oldest pyramid in Egypt and an early architectural masterpiece. Walk through the surrounding tombs embellished with carvings of great beauty portraying some scenes from ancient Egyptian life. The end of the day will be in Memphis, the first capital of Egypt, where you will visit an open-air museum with the colossus of Ramses II and the Alabaster Sphinx.

After a day full of history and exploration, you will be driven to your hotel in Cairo for a relaxing evening or other optional activities before day two of your adventure commences.

Today starts with hotel pick-up and ends with an easy transfer to the Egyptian Museum, which houses a very rich collection of antiquities such as treasures from the tomb of Tutankhamun. You will be provided with such a wonderful knowledgeable guide that you won’t miss any of the amazing exhibits of statues, jewelry, and mummies indicating the grandeur of the past of Egypt.
