The World Youth Forum - WYF is an annual event held in Egypt with the aim of bringing together young people from all over the world. the World Youth Forum is held in Sharm el-Sheikh, under the auspices of Egyptian President Abdel Fattah el-Sisi.
The beginning
Under the slogan "create, go", Egyptian President Abdel Fattah al-Sisi launched the national youth conferences, which turned into a platform for direct dialogue between the Egyptian state, its various institutions, and the Egyptian youth.
On April 25, 2017, a group of Egyptian youth presented at the National Youth Conference in Ismailia their initiative to engage in dialogue with the youth of the world, on July 24, 2017, during the National Youth Conference in Alexandria, Egyptian President Abdel Fattah al-Sisi officially announced the launch of the World Youth Forum to be held in Sharm el-Sheikh in November 2017, in which he invited young people from all over the world to express their visions for the future of their countries.
Egypt launched the first edition of the World Youth Forum in 2017, to be a global platform aimed at bringing together proactive youth in different fields from different nationalities and backgrounds to discuss a wide range of issues and topics of interest to the world's population. The forum provides an opportunity for young generations to share their vision and express their ideas in order to promote open dialogue between different cultures and civilizations and send a message of peace, unity, and progress to the whole world. The Forum engages young people in a rich environment, allowing them to interact with leading policy makers and network with promising young people from the region and the whole world.
In February 2021, the first three editions of the World Youth Forum were adopted by the UN Commission for Social Development as an international platform for discussing youth issues.

Sharm el-Sheikh is considered one of the most famous resorts in the world.
It was ranked the fourth best diving spot in the world according to the BBC in 2005. Moreover, over the past years, Sharm el-Sheikh has hosted many international political and economic agreements, as well as the summit of peacemakers in 1996, the Sharm el-Sheikh summit in 2005, and the fifteenth summit of heads of state and government of the Non-Aligned Movement. In addition to holding conferences dedicated to youth, such as the first national youth conference held in October 2016 and the editions of the World Youth Forum held in November 2017, 2018, and December 2019, and will be held in January 2022.

Egypt held the first edition of the World Youth Forum from November 4 to 10, 2017. 3,200 young participants from 113 countries attended to discuss and participate in the dialogue. More than 222 speakers from more than 64 countries participated in multiple sessions, discussions were held to discuss global issues and topics within the framework of the three main tracks: peace, development, and creativity. The World Youth Forum 2017 was launched under the slogan (We need to talk) to highlight the need for an open discussion among young people from all over the world to give a message of peace and prosperity. It focused on the need to combat terrorism and prevent terrorist groups from gaining access to weapons that threaten states. Among the keynote speakers at the forum was human rights activist and ISIS Yazidi survivor Lamia Haji Bashar. Through 46 sessions and 70 working hours, the forum program included six main pillars, which discussed global issues and topics of interest to young people around the world. Topics: global youth issues, sustainable development, entrepreneurship and technology, cultural and civilizational dialogue, development of future leaders in addition, the forum witnessed a simulation of the UN Security Council. World Youth Forum 2017 Over the next five days, young people from Egypt and around the world will explore the pressing issues of our time and the vital roles that young people can play in addressing them. This is a moment that young people take advantage of - to share experiences, imagine a better future, nurture hope, challenge conventional wisdom, and propose practical solutions.
Recommendations
The forum into an International Center for Arab-African dialogue among the world's youth in order to activate dialogue among them to achieve peace and development. Call on the Ministry of foreign affairs, in coordination with all relevant state bodies, international organizations and institutions chaired by the UN General Assembly, to adopt resolutions of the UN Security Council simulation model implemented by the youth of Egypt and the world and to implement it in future forums of all international and regional institutions and organizations. Invite the organizing committee of the World Youth Forum, in coordination with state agencies and institutions, to hold the forum annually in November in Sharm el-Sheikh. Invite the board of Trustees of the National Academy for youth training to implement a plan for academic and cultural exchange with all corresponding academies, institutes and training centers and allocate a number of seats for students from Arab, African, Asian and Latin countries. Call on the organizing committee of the World Youth Forum to form a committee of experts from all over the world to develop an international strategy to address the issues of illegal migration, extremism, and illiteracy, and propose a strategy for discussion through the activities implemented by the forum, starts at the beginning of 2018. Call on the ministers of Higher Education, Scientific Research, Communications, and Information Technology, in coordination with the Egyptian Academy for scientific research and Egyptian universities, to establish a regional center to sponsor technological innovation that provides scientific and financial support to technology innovators from Arab and African countries. Invite the organizing committee of the World Youth Forum to host youth delegations from all over the world to hold workshops and seminars throughout 2018 on various issues and topics discussed during the forum, and activate all modern communication mechanisms to ensure the widest participation base in the dialogue among young people around the world. Calling on the Egyptian prime minister, in coordination with the concerned ministries, to establish a regional center to support entrepreneurship and finance small and micro-projects.
World Youth Forum 2018
The second edition of the World Youth Forum was held from November 3-6, 2018. More than 5,000 young people of different nationalities and backgrounds have been engaged in communication.
Recommendations
Declaration of Aswan as the African Youth Capital for 2019, where the Arab and African Youth Forum will be held to discuss the most important issues and challenges facing young people in the African continent and the Arab region. The adoption of the Sharm el-Sheikh declaration to be a city of Arab-African integration and the adoption of the declaration as an official document, which the Ministry of Foreign Affairs will submit to the League of Arab States and the African Union Commission, to be a model for simulating peace in the world. This comes by one of the recommendations of the Arab and African summit model. Call on the National Training Academy to develop executive mechanisms to train Arab and African youth in all political, economic, and social fields through the launch of the African Presidential Leadership Program.
Formation of a research group under the supervision of the organizing committee of the World Youth Forum to study the pros and cons of excessive use of social media platforms. This group should develop a comprehensive vision and operational mechanisms to maximize the benefits of social media platforms culturally, intellectually, and scientifically, in addition to minimizing their negative impact. Calling on Egyptian institutions and bodies, in coordination with the organizing committee of the World Youth Forum, to implement an awareness campaign at all political and media levels at the regional and international levels to raise the awareness of young people and the public of the seriousness of the issue of water security and put it on the agenda of the international community. To launch an international initiative to train 10,000 Egyptian and African youth as developers of electronic games and applications over the next three years, in addition to supporting the establishment of 100 companies specialized in these fields in Egypt and Africa. Calling on all Egyptian institutions and bodies to establish a Regional Center for entrepreneurship in Egypt to provide support to startups in Egypt and the countries of the region. To form an administrative committee, which includes the participating sculptors, to "commemorate humanity" in the city of Sharm el-Sheikh. And turn it into an international institution aimed at preserving the principles of humanity and supporting the victims of violence and terrorism. Call on the Council of Ministers to form a committee comprising the ministries of social solidarity and foreign affairs, in coordination with the relevant state institutions, to prepare a comprehensive vision to amend the law regulating the work of NGOs and civil society organizations inside Egypt. Platforms of the World Youth Forum
In May 2018, the model was held in Cairo in the presence of many prominent figures, headed by Abdel Fattah al-Sisi, president of Egypt, as well as high-level representatives from more than 20 African countries. African youth had the opportunity to participate, participate and express their thoughts on how to overcome the challenges facing their countries. Stressing the importance of building on the decisions of the African summit on African youth for technical and vocational training, especially related to making 2018-2027 a decade and training on entrepreneurship and youth employment, through the launch of the open doors strategy, which is an integrative strategy at the level of the African continent, through which the Union Commission is responsible for receiving training needs from each African country, as well as drawing up a map of training opportunities that exist in African countries to distribute training needs to them. Arab and African Youth Forum-March 2019-Aswan The Arab and African Youth Forum (in English: Arab and African youth platform) is one of the platforms of the World Youth Forum, which was announced to be launched in the second edition of the forum in 2018 from (16-18 March 2019), under the auspices of President Abdel Fattah al - Sisi, president of the Republic, to discuss issues related to the reality and future of the Arab region and the African continent, this forum came in conjunction with Egypt's presidency of the African Union.
The forum focused on issues related to the reality and future of the Arab region and the African continent, where participants discussed through the sessions the topics of the future of scientific research and health care services, the impact of modern technology and innovation in Africa and the Arab region, in addition to holding a round table for a dialogue among participants on ways to benefit from the Nile Valley as a corridor for Arab and African integration, as well as holding a workshop on the development of the Sahel region, in addition to holding two workshops for entrepreneurship.
Instruct the Ministry of Higher Education, in coordination with the National Academy for Training and Rehabilitation of Youth, to establish the Cooperation Council between Arab and African universities; to be an effective platform to promote scientific and cultural cooperation between Arabs and Africa. Instruct the Ministry of Health, in coordination with all relevant state agencies and institutions, to launch an Egyptian Initiative to eliminate the C virus for one million Africans. Entrusting the management of the World Youth Forum to form task forces of Arab and African youth, to take over the preparation of a special vision to achieve the opportunities of Arab-African integration in all fields, and submit it to the concerned authorities in our countries to start implementing it.
The management of the World Youth Forum is preparing for the Egypt-Sudan forum to promote integration between the two brotherly countries on the principle of the Brotherhood of the Nile Valley. Paying attention to the use of media platforms and social communication to remove the wrong mental image of African-Arab relations, and working to empower young people and women to transform political will into practical measures to prepare and rehabilitate them by upgrading education and training.
