The palace and gardens of the park were erected more than a hundred years ago, where Khedive Abbas Helmi II ordered to build it in 1892 in an area that was abandoned and isolated at that time, Khedive Abbas Helmi II admired the area when he was walking on its beach accompanied by a musical band that was playing at the time and decided that the area should include a palace and gardens for recreation. The Khedive himself supervised the organization of the garden and named it, and the palace was named one, the Palace of peace. Then, in 1925, King Fuad I built the Haramlak Palace in the Italian style, by the Italian engineer Ferrucci and the Egyptian engineer Hassan Pasha Al-Adawi, inside the walls of the park Palace there are tourist facilities established after the Egyptian revolution to serve the visitors of the parks from the public, including restaurants, an integrated tourist center, playgrounds and chalets.
