Early in the morning, our Cairo Top Tours tour guide will meet you in the hotel lobby to begin your incredible tour departing Sharm el-Sheikh. Following your pickup, you will be driven to the Sharm el-Sheikh airport, where you can admire the splendor of Fayoum Oasis before continuing on to Cairo.
First, you will go on a unique excursion to Wadi El Rayan, where lakes meander among golden sand dunes and natural waterfalls tumble in an unrivaled spectacle. Here, where the desert and the water converge, we enjoy the serene beauty of nature, safari adventures, and water activities. Dunes, natural springs, a wide variety of plants, numerous mammal species, and important marine fossils are all features of the Wadi Al Rayyan Reserve's integrated desert ecology that make it unique. In addition to riding camels and engaging in other leisure and vacation activities, you will have the opportunity to observe and explore the waterfalls area, which is regarded as one of the areas for various water sports, when you visit Wadi El Rayan. The "Peaks of Al Rayyan," which encircle the southern and southwestern part of Laayoune, is home to a variety of resident and migratory bird species, as well as some significant archeological relics and marine fossils, and to the site of Jabal Al-Rayyan. The area with the lower lake as a border is called Jabal Al Madoura.
Next, we go to Wadi el Hitan, a 4-million-year-old fossil site northwest of Wadi el Rayyan Reserve. Shark teeth, shells, fossilized shura plants, and early whale bones can all be found in soft rocks. Many view these fossils as an open museum. Geological formations, water springs, wetlands, peculiar fossils, and a large collection of whale skeletons all contribute to the unique environment of the Valley of the Whales. Featuring the presence of countless other animals and fish, with 406 skeletons—205 of which are undamaged—dating back 40 million years.
The tour guide will then drop you off at the airport so you can catch your flight back to Sharm el-Sheikh and your lodging.
