Dahshur forms one of the world's most visited tourist sites due to the presence of many ancient Egyptian ruins. The Egyptian pharaoh, Sneferu, chose the Dahshur rock platform as his site for a tomb that would be as great as his father's tomb, Djoser's owner of Saqqara Step Pyramid. Dahshur is home to an ancient Egyptian royal tomb and several pyramids built between 2613 and 2589 BC.

The first Dahshur pyramid was constructed during the reign of King Sneferu, and then Sneferu commissioned the second Dahshur pyramid, the Red Pyramid, which is 104 meters in height and has an inclination of 43 degrees. This pyramid is also called the "Red Pyramid" as red limestone was employed in building it, and is believed to be the tomb of King Sneferu. There are also several royal tombs of royal princesses which have been found in Dahshur, and are laden with luxurious jewelry and precious stones. There are also several smaller pyramids of princesses to the south of Dahshur. Close to the pyramids of Dahshur are several big tombs of Middle and ancient Kingdoms of Egypt officials.

Your day begins with a special visit to the Nercopolis of Dahshur, which is one of the villages belonging to the center of Badrasheen in the Giza Governorate and is one of the tourist areas visited by visitors from all over the world for its many ancient Egyptian monuments, where the Egyptian Pharaoh Sneferu chose the rocky plateau of Dahshur to create his tomb.

In Dahshur you will have the opportunity to explore a range of famous pyramids, such as The first Dahshur pyramid was built under King Sneferu's rule.
