In the early morning, our tour leader will pick you up from your cruise at Safaga Port in a private air-conditioned car to begin your journey to Luxor, kicking off a truly unforgettable Egypt tour.

Upon arrival in Luxor, you'll meet your private tour guide who will accompany you throughout this immersive Egypt shore excursion. You’ll begin by exploring the awe-inspiring Karnak Temple, the largest temple complex ever constructed by man. Spanning 247 acres, it features a mix of three main temples, several smaller enclosed sanctuaries, and numerous outer temples — a testament to generations of pharaonic builders.

Then, it is time to proceed further to the magical Valley of the Kings, a royal necropolis dating from the 18th to the 20th dynasties. The valley has tombs of great kings like Ramses II and the Boy King, Tutankhamun, thus making it one of the more famous stops on any Egypt tour.

The day proceeds further with a visit to the elegant Hatshepsut Temple, the best-preserved temple of Ancient Egypt. The Temple has three levels joined by two central ramps. It represents an artistic architectural harmony, tribute to one of the greatest Queens of Egypt. You then will admire the Colossi of Memnon, two gigantic statues of King Amenhotep III. They were once part of a mortuary temple. The statues were carved from quartzite sandstone and transported over 700 kilometers from Cairo to Luxor — what a feat of engineering for the ancient days!

In the evening, you may choose to enjoy an optional Sound and Light Show at Karnak, a spectacular way to experience this historic site under the night sky.

After your Luxor adventure, you’ll fly to Cairo where you'll be transferred to a luxurious 5-star hotel for an overnight stay, preparing for the next chapter of your Egypt shore excursion.

You will have your delicious breakfast at your hotel, then you will meet our tour guide who will take you to visit some of Cairo's top attractions on this unforgettable Egypt tour.

First, you will visit the Giza Pyramids – Cheops, Chephren & Mykerinos – a must-see highlight of any Egypt shore excursion from Safaga Port.

Then you can head to visit the Valley Temple. While doing that, you can have a closer look at the Great Sphinx – the legendary guardian that stands by the huge funeral complex with its lion body and the head of King Chephren.

Then continue your day tour to the Egyptian Museum of Antiquities. It displays the largest and most precious items of Egyptian art in the world and is a cornerstone of any Egypt tour.

Finally, you will be transferred back to your cruise in Safaga, concluding your memorable journey through Cairo’s timeless wonders and your Safaga shore excursion.
